The shorter, stouter cousin of the Flare Mug: the same gently flared silhouette, scaled down for tea, espresso macchiatos, or a smaller, more focused cup.

The compact body sits beautifully in the hand and keeps the heat in close. Reactive glazes give each mug its own quiet character, with the colour pooling and shifting subtly across the surface, no two ever quite alike.

For the in-between moments: a strong tea in the afternoon, a quick coffee on the way out the door.

About Mervyn Gers+

One of Cape Town's most respected ceramicists, Mervyn Gers and his small studio team have spent over two decades shaping stoneware by hand. Each piece is wheel-thrown or slip-cast, glazed in small batches, and fired in-house, which means no two are identical. His work is built for daily use and designed to age beautifully.
