The hand-painted detail and warm, neutral glaze make it endlessly versatile, a place for a slice of toast at breakfast, a side salad at supper, a small wedge of cake in the afternoon. Layer it on top of the dinner plate for a more considered table setting.
Available in a soft almond and a deeper, sun-warmed kalahari, both designed to play well with the rest of the table.

One of Cape Town's most respected ceramicists, Mervyn Gers and his small studio team have spent over two decades shaping stoneware by hand.
