A generous stoneware vessel finished in a warm, earthy rooibos-coloured glaze.
The rich tone shifts subtly across the surface, grounding the kitchen counter in something solid and tactile. Wide enough to hold a sheaf of wooden spoons, a bundle of whisks, or the everyday tangle of utensils that lives within arm's reach of the stove.
One of those quietly useful pieces that earns its place by being there every day.

About Mervyn Gers+
One of Cape Town's most respected ceramicists, Mervyn Gers and his small studio team have spent over two decades shaping stoneware by hand. Each piece is wheel-thrown or slip-cast, glazed in small batches, and fired in-house, which means no two are identical. His work is built for daily use and designed to age beautifully.
